This is an incredible story of Prof. Lael's mission to save the youth in Sao Paulo's most distressed area using Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He faced incredible odds, the Novos Sonhos (New Dreams) Social Project has saved kids from the streets of Cracolandia, the city's most dangerous area, by helping them build a better future. Cracolandia is an area of the city that has been overrun by addicts and drug gangs, where violence is a way of life. Lael Rodrigues dedicated his life to making a change from within the community by showing the kids a better way.
